The annual commemoration of the Second Battle of Manassas (Bull Run) takes place August 24 -26, 2012 with living history portrayals of soldiers in an encampment of canvas tents. 2nd U.S. Sharpshooters, Union Company representing “Black Hat Brigade’s” 2nd Wisconsin, 5th New York Infantry, “Duryee’s Zouaves, 4th Virginia Cavalry, “Manassas’s Own” Artillery, Confederate Military Forces, 14th Tennessee and Confederate impressions.
Civil War re-enactors from around the country will join the Manassas community in commemorating the Second Battle of Manassas (Bull Run) by participating in a re-enactor military parade through Old Town Manassas.
