Things To Do In DC – Chocolate Lovers Festival
Chocolate Lovers Festival 2015
Downtown Historic Fairfax
February 7 & 8, 2015
This chocolate lover’s dream festival is held every February over two days in Old Town Fairfax. Grab your valentine and head to the 2015 Chocolate Lovers Festival for a day filled with chocolate samples galore, a craft show, historic re-enactments, children’s activities and the highly anticipated Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, featuring mouthwatering chocolate chip pancakes.
Browse the vendors for some local hand-made crafts, enjoy live entertainment then relax and take in The Chocolate Challenge show, an arts contest showcasing amazing art pieces made entirely of chocolate. Take tours of historic buildings in the heart of the downtown area and spend some time in city buildings, like the City of Fairfax Regional Library, Historic Fairfax Court House, Fire Station 3, The George Mason University Nutrition Kitchen and Old Town Hall, all of which will have lots of goodies on hand.
The Chocolate Lovers Festival is open to the public and free to all visitors, however, some events do require a small fee. The Chocolate Express is available for free shuttle services until 5:30pm on Saturday and 4:30pm on Sunday.
