38th Annual Capital Pride Parade

Show your pride at the 2013 Capital Pride Street Festival in the heart of the Nation’s Capital. Celebrating the LGBT community along legendary Pennsylvania Avenue, this festival is DC’s largest annual event with over 150,000 festival goers, over 300 sponsor booths, three entertainment stages, two beer and wine gardens, family fun area, art exhibits and many food and beverage vendors. The 2013 Street Festival is featuring extended evening hours so visitors can enjoy a sunset dance party at the US Capitol.

The 38th Annual Capital Pride Parade kicks off at 4:30pm on June 8, beginning at 22nd & P Streets. As the parade travels through DuPont Circle to the finish in Logan Circle, onlookers will enjoy elaborate floats, DJ thumping tractor trailers, dancing on the streets, and a ton off fun giveaways, like glitter and beads.
